The 85 bus from Kingston or Putney stops opposite Richardson Evans Memorial Fields. Coming from Putney, get off at Roehampton Vale Campus, the stop after Asda, and continue 200 yards to the entrance on your left. Coming from Kingston, alight at Robin Hood Lane at the foot of Kingston Hill and cross A3 via the footbridge.
Parking is very limited so if you can please avoid coming by car. There are some parking spots within walking distance at:
- Robin Hood Gate car park in Richmond Park. Cars cannot enter through this gate, Roehampton and Kingston gates are closest to this.
- Wimbledon Windmill car park, about 1.5 miles by foot to the start/finish
Push bikes can be left near the start/finish area but there are no bike parking stands to lock your bikes.
Please come ready to race. There are no changing or shower facilities at the start/finish area.
A bag drop will be available close to the registration desk which will be looked after. But please avoid bringing any important valuables as we cannot fully ensure their safety.
Portaloos will be available at the start/finish area. Please only use these toilet facilities and not the bushes!
There will be homemade cakes for all finishers! Hurrah for cake!
First aid cover will be at the start/finish area and partway on the course.
Clothing and running shoes
Come along suitably dressed for the race.
Depending on the mud, road or trail running shoes will be fine. But don’t feel you need to invest in new shoes for the race unless of course you want to.
Please note the use of headphones or other listening devices on the course are not allowed.
